St Stephe's Toowoomba Uniting Church along with at least four others will be putting on a show for the Carnival of Flowers.
From Sunday the 20th September through to Wednesday the 23rd, St Stephen's at 51 Neil Street Toowoomba will feature a wonderful floral display and a Sunday Afternoon concert from Heather Gillies presenting "Theatre and Theology". On Monday to Wednesday there will be a craft display and Devonshire teas in the hall behind the church. A Saussage sizzle on the front lawn will be provided by local service groups around lunch time.
Heather has had lead roles in many Music Theatre productions including The Sound of Music, Miss Saigon and Joseph & his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In her Native New Zealand she also sang profesional lead roles in opera works. $10 Admission "at the door".
On Monday to Wednesday short lunch time concerts will be held from 12pm in the church including a children's concert again featuring Heather Gillies on the Wednesday.
